Having a baby photoshoot is another great way to celebrate your twins’ first Valentine’s Day. My twins were just shy of 4 months old on their first Valentine’s Day. I put on the reddest red lipstick I could find and covered their chubby little bodies in red kisses. Then I took pictures of them laughing and giggling while covered in mommy kisses. I love these pictures, and I am so glad I captured one of their “firsts” (because there are lots I didn’t).
Arrange a mini photoshoot capturing your twins surrounded by conversation hearts or even heart-shaped balloons. You can also have them sit up on a white chair with a red blanket draped over the back of the chair and heart garland in the background. All of these ideas are picture-perfect ways to capture their first Valentine’s Day and create lovable memories.
Twiniversity tip: If your twinnies aren’t sitting up yet, grab a couple of helium-filled heart balloons and loosely tie them to your babies’ ankles. Capture some images and videos of your sweet babies kicking and interacting with the balloon. Get some craft supplies like colored paper, stickers, glitter, and markers, and let your twins decorate their own cards. They can make personalized cards for each other or for family and friends. It’s a great way to encourage their creativity and also teach them about expressing love and appreciation.
