Maegan Hall is a former police officer who lost her job after being accused of having multiple s*xual relationships with her colleagues in the La Vergne Police Department. Following investigations, the one-time park ranger and four other officers lost their jobs while three officers were suspended.
Reports say everything happened while she was on the verge of divorcing her husband, Jedidiah Hall, a Coffee County sheriff’s deputy. Despite her infidelities, the pair are still married and with his support, she launched a federal lawsuit against her former department for creating a hostile environment and violating her civil rights. The Tennessee Police Officer Maegan Hall Joined the La Vergne Police Department in 2021
27 -year-old Maegan Hall was born on August 19, 1996, and raised in rural Tennessee, United States by her parents Jeremy Watley (father) and Rachel Watley (mother). After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University where earned a degree in biology, she joined law enforcement in her 20s since her dreams of becoming an actress failed.
Before becoming a cop, she previously worked as a park ranger for the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park and later as a pharmacy tech at Walgreens. It was in December 2020 that she applied for a job with the La Vergne Police Department and on February 9, 2021, the La Vergne Police Department hired her.
Maegan was sworn in by the La Vergne Police Department chief Burrel “Chip’ Davis. After working in the department for a year, she earned a La Vergne Police Department’s Community Service Award.
She Was Fired From the Police Department in La Vergne, Following an Alleged Affair
On January 2023, after nearly 2 years of working as a police officer with the La Vergne Police Department’s Community, Maegan was dismissed from the department. Her dismissal came after an investigation which started on December 12 2022 considered her actions unacceptable. According to the reports, she was allegedly involved in s*xual misconduct with six fellow officers in her department who were all part of the second shift.
Maegan first got involved with her superiors Sgt. Lewis Powell and then officers such as K-9 officer Larry Holladay, Patrick Magliocco, Henry Ty McGowan, Juan Lugo-Perez, Gavin Schoeberl, and Seneca Shields also got involved with her.
The alleged affair took place inside the station while on duty and also after work hours in places such as hotels, parties, and other officers’ houses. In addition to this, they also exchanged inappropriate photos and videos between themselves.
At the end of the investigation, it wasn’t only Maegan who was left without a job but 4 other officers. Meanwhile, three other officers namely officers Patrick Magliocco, Larry Holladay, and Gavin Schoeberl were placed on suspension for their involvement in the scandal but spared for giving information into the misconduct which Maegan initially denied. Speaking on this, Mayor Cole noted that the situation was not acceptable, hence all officers involved were disciplined.
The Mayor also added that a few officers do not represent an entire department and assured that he’s confident in other officers’ ability to protect and serve.

Maegan Hall Launched a Federal Lawsuit Against her Former Department After Being Sacked
Since Maegan Hall lost her job, she has remained tight-lipped in the discussion. She hinted that she was focused on moving on and living her life. Nonetheless, she later broke her silence and revealed in a lawsuit that she was “s*xually groomed” by her superiors in that department. Alongside her attorney, Brazil Clark, she is suing three former supervisors in the federal court for civil rights violations. She isseeking unspecified damages for lost wages, medical expenses, and mental suffering.
The petite blonde Tennessee native revealed that her colleagues in the all-male’s rank made her feel trapped and exploited. She was first involved with Sgt. Powell appeared to to a reliable companion on matters regarding her career and marriage after she revealed how buying a home alongside her husband was taking a toll on them. But he soon began to make advances at her and refused to take no for an answer. Following pressure from several ends, she later gave in to him and when she tried to break off the affair, he threatened himself.
Sgt. Powell was not the only one Maegan got involved with. She later had s*xual encounters with other officers not just with one but six of them. According to her, they used their authority to disarm her resistance and shared tips to further manipulate her.
She also confirmed to reports that she had even gotten involved in threes*me with Magliocco cop and his wife. For Maegan, the chief of police created a hostile workplace for her as he encouraged sexual behavior and shared in p*rnography and sexual fantasy.
Maegan’s Troubled Marriage, Heavy Drinking Habit, and Mental Health Issues Have Been Linked to the Sexual Misconduct
Even though Maegan faced pressure from the officers, she later noted that her troubled marriage also contributed to her misconduct. She told investigators that she was going through a difficult divorce with her husband, Jedidah Hall, a former officer who is also a pastor’s son. The pair who met and started dating in college got married on 23 May 2018 and reports from one of the fired officers say they were in an open marriage. Together, they live in Manchester, 60 miles south of Nashville.
Despite her sexual misconduct, her husband who is now a sheriff’s deputy has decided to stick with her. According to Chad Partin, a Coffee County Sheriff, Jedidah is trying to salvage his marriage.
“I don’t know how he’s doing it, he’s more of a man than I am, but he’s trying to salvage his marriage,”
In addition to her troubled marriage, one of the officers added that Maegan also had heavy drinking problems and mental health issues. During the investigation, she confessed to being drunk at the “girls gone wild’ hot tub party and later had s*x with Magliocco in the bathroom of a colleague’s boat. Sergeant Eric Staats also shared that he had concerns for Maegan’s mental health.
