Bio
I began a lifelong passion of learning foreign languages at the age of 7, and after studying both French and Spanish for 11 years I undertook a BA in Modern Arabic Studies with a Spanish minor. I traveled to Cairo, Egypt where I received a certificate to teach English as a Foreign Language and completed a year of teaching English in a private school in Cairo.
Upon discovering the rewards and a passion for teaching, I then pursued a 2 year Post Graduate Certificate to teach French to 11-18...
I began a lifelong passion of learning foreign languages at the age of 7, and after studying both French and Spanish for 11 years I undertook a BA in Modern Arabic Studies with a Spanish minor. I traveled to Cairo, Egypt where I received a certificate to teach English as a Foreign Language and completed a year of teaching English in a private school in Cairo.
Upon discovering the rewards and a passion for teaching, I then pursued a 2 year Post Graduate Certificate to teach French to 11-18 year olds and worked for a number of schools in the UK.
I was also employed by a number of agencies there and tutored French to adults and children of differing ages.
During my time in Southern California, I have been teaching home-school groups and school-aged children for the Parks and Recreation Department. I have established a great rapport with all my students and during the last 10 years, have accumulated many effective teaching resources and methods to assist my pupils during their journey of learning a foreign language.
